Requirements / Qualifications

• BSc. Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn.

Purpose of Position

• To handle the accounts and financial activities for Bahrain, and other GCC branches using the Group’s accounting systems and implementing Group accounting policies and procedures.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Day to day management of the accounting function, using the Group’s accounting systems and implementing Group accounting policies and procedures.
• Issuing POs.
• Managing the financial activities for Bahrain, UAE, and any other GCC countries ensuring they are seamlessly integrated with the headquarter.

• Uploading purchase invoices onto the accounting system (EasyBuild) for both Bahrain and JGIL (Abu Dhabi).
• Conducting Bank Reconciliation for JGIL (Abu Dhabi).
• Previewing supplier payments, outlining what is correctly due for payment and when.
• Reviewing and reconciling monthly petty cash items. Review and, upload the journal onto the accounting system.
• Uploading sales invoices to the accounting system upon completion of client assessment of the application.
• Following up on payments due from clients.
• Communication and correspondence with clients and suppliers as advised by the project’s manager and regional director.
• Preparing the monthly CVRs, with assistance from projects manager, to be reviewed by Regional Manager.
• Other duties as assigned and requested by the Financial Controller and/or Regional Director.

• JGL Employees.
