Project Manager, Ounass, Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose

The Project Manager will be focusing on planning, executing, and delivering large-scale physical location development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations. This role is involving coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and driving innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. The Project Manager is ensuring project outcomes are meeting quality standards, staying on time and within budget, and adapting to dynamic industry challenges.

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

    Developing and executing comprehensive project launch strategies, aligning initiatives with the organization’s long-term goals.
    Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments and external partners, to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
    Overseeing governance and compliance frameworks, incorporating industry best practices and regulatory standards to maintain project integrity.
    Proactively identifying and mitigating risks by conducting detailed assessments and implementing robust action plans.
    Championing innovation by integrating emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance project outcomes and maintain a competitive edge.
    Fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, promoting shared accountability and a culture of excellence.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

    Developing and tracking comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion of activities, including architecture, compliance, staffing, safety, and security.
    Coordinating with stakeholders to define requirements, ensuring all deliverables are being completed with quality and on time.
    Acting as a central point of coordination, identifying and managing dependencies across internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
    Facilitating clear communication to address potential conflicts and maintaining alignment across all parties.
    Collaborating with design, product, marketing, technology and other teams to shape exceptional customer and operational experiences.
    Ensuring the incorporation of advanced technology solutions to support seamless physical location operations.
    Proactively managing risks by identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
    Overseeing financial planning, including budgeting, cost tracking, and resource optimization, to ensure on-budget execution.
    Managing vendor selection, procurement processes, and contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
    Working closely with finance and legal teams to streamline processes and addressing regulatory considerations.
    Adapting project strategies and timelines to changing business needs, maintaining a focus on high-quality outcomes.
    Exhibiting critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and delivering results.
    Communicating and coordinating with brands who will have potential collaborations with the physical space and maintaining strong relationships with them.

Job Requirements

Education/Certification and Continued Education

    Holding a bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field, ensuring foundational knowledge for managing complex retail projects.

Years of Experience

    5-7 years experience of proven experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale, high-impact projects, preferably in the retail sector.

Knowledge and Skills

    Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    Organizing complex projects with competing priorities.
    Managing risks and planning strategically.
    Handling budgets and ensuring cost efficiency.
    Addressing compliance, safety, and security standards for physical location projects.
    Representing the business effectively with an agile mindset and adapting to industry changes.
