Head of Sustainability Department, Avoozer, Dubai, UAE

Duties & Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement sustainability policies, goals, and strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.
    Regularly review and update sustainability policies to adapt to market and regulatory changes.
    Oversee ESG monitoring, reporting, and compliance based on global standards (GRI, SASB).
    Manage public relations (PR) and stakeholder engagement regarding sustainability initiatives.
    Drive energy and environmental management policies, including greenhouse gas inventory (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
    Lead social impact programs, including community partnerships and corporate responsibility projects.
    Assist subsidiaries in adopting sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental commitments.
    Plan and conduct sustainability training for employees and executives.
    Supervise sustainability projects, track progress, and align them with business objectives.
    Integrate sustainability principles into corporate decision-making for strategic advantage.

Job Experience

    Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications (e.g., PRM).
    Proven experience in sustainability management and project implementation.
    Familiarity with GHG inventory standards (ISO 14064) and environmental audits.
    Understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB).
    Data analysis skills with expertise in strategic planning and project execution.
    PR or media experience with excellent communication skills.
    3+ years of leadership experience in managing sustainability teams.
