Artemis Education Qatar is currently recruiting for the role of Facilities Manager with an immediate start or as soon as possible.

The Role

Provide leadership of the Facilities operations in line with the agreed strategy, liaising with School leadership as appropriate, primarily (but not exclusively) at the campus level. Ensure that the designated campus infrastructure and services are maintained to a consistently high standard, meeting key stakeholders' requirements, and that all aspects of Estates and Facilities consistently meet the highest standards of student, staff, and visitor safety.

To ensure that the campus consistently meets all Ministry and educational obligations regarding the built environment, facilities services, security, and catering.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for Facilities Manager who embodies:

• Extensive Facilities Management experience, ideally within an educational environment
• Experience in managing projects to tight budgets/deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders with differing needs, including landlord-tenant relations.
• Leadership experience – with effective persuasive skills, capable of uniting different interests, even outside the direct line of authority.
• Commercial vision – experienced budget holder, always seeking opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Good understanding of Ministry requirements, with flexibility to accommodate changing requirements.
• A focus on continuous improvement of operations and infrastructure.
• Strong people management skills
• Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety management, ideally in an educational environment.
