As a Logistics Coordinator/Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our logistics operations with a primary focus on shipments to African countries. This multifaceted role requires a diverse skill set ranging from vessel booking and 3PL documentation to brand representation and certification knowledge specific to African markets.
Minimum requirements:
Shipping Documents and Certifications:
Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in handling a variety of shipping documents, including Certificates of Origin (COO), Health Certificates, Hazardous Certificates, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and other relevant certifications.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping documents in compliance with international regulations and specific requirements of African countries.
Familiarity with the intricacies of certification processes, including the authentication of origin, health, and safety aspects of shipments.
Proficient in interpreting and processing various certifications required for international trade, demonstrating a meticulous approach to compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in logistics coordination.
Familiarity with African markets and logistics requirements.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, especially Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience specifically as a Logistics Coordinator.
