Scope and Purpose:
To support and work closely with the Financial Director and other finance colleagues in managing the financial and commercial aspects of the business.
To assist in financial management and control function of the organization, including financial and regulatory reporting.
Managing the relationship with the auditors, planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, strategy and funding.
Support with MEA Hub & G+D CT FZE branches.
Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day to day accounting processes
Preparation of monthly management reports
Accounting for Inter-company invoices and other supplier invoices
Creation and accounting for Bank Payment to Vendors
Reconcile all pending accounts including vendor accounts on a monthly basis
Accounting for Bank Receipts from Customers
Follow up with Sales team in collection of the overdue amounts in time to ensure smooth cashflow.
Handling and preparation of petty cash and bank reconciliation statements
Monthly Expense Analysis
Organize and track all documents to and from Finance and Administration department
Manage the maintenance of electronic, scanned and manual filing systems for all financial documents
Carry out inventory reconciliation and tagging and numbering of assets
Preparation and submission of VAT, WHT and CIT returns
Handling taxation and other statutory records for the company
Ensuring compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, local regulations, Group policies and internal guidelines
Liaise with Auditors (both statutory & Internal) for timely and smooth completion of the audit
Work on special projects from time to time as required by Management
Assist in creating, monitoring and updating financial related policies and procedures
Other routine accounting tasks
