An exciting opportunity has opened up with a fintech start-up that services retail clients. This institution is looking for a senior regulatory compliance professional to lead their governance team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
Implement of risk management, compliance and governance standards.
Provide advisory to the business on emerging risk and compliance related matters.
Monitor key regulatory developments and stay abreast of the current events and market trends in various countries (eg. Asia, EU, US, GCC).
Implement, challenge and design risk and compliance related initiatives and drives improvement to the risk management landscape.
Assist in implementing risk profiling, incident management and events.
Support and coordinate periodic risk and compliance related reports.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 12 years of financial risk & non-financial risk experience within financial services, fintech experience is highly advantageous.
Experience in the regulatory risk and compliance initiatives with a proven track record that may impact the industry.
Experience with Central Bank regulations, Consumer Protection Regulations, Data Privacy law etc.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, banking, economics, or related field or equivalent.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task & deliver to tight deadlines.
