SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Quality Control Supervisor you will be responsible to manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing, and following up quality control lab activities to test, analyze and ensure that the products are in accordance with relevant specifications.
This position is based at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia & will report to the Quality Control Manager.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control Supervisor is responsible to manage assigned personnel by ensuring that the tasks in their areas are executed as planned in an efficient way and with the right quality.
Lead the team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.
Receive and register samples from production, Quality checks of income Raw Materials. Stores retain samples and remove old samples on the expiry date.
Ensure efficient work so that Quality Control processes are done in the shortest possible time & compare results with specification.
Issue Certificate of Analysis (CoA), distribute and file as required also measure, monitor the Quality Control departmental KPIs as agreed.
Ensure that Quality Control instruments have been calibrated according to standards & Monitor.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Chemistry or Paint Technology.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Paint or Specialty chemical quality control field.
Fluency in English (Verbal & Written)
Location: Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
