SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The job holder of this position will Supervise on-going painting works of projects to ensure right product and correct usage of the finished coating to achieve the performance as recommended in Jotun's technical data sheets and method of statement.
This position reports to Technical Service Team Leader and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and advise applicators on the proper application of paints to ensure painting work is carried out according to specifications and procedures.
Supervise on-site assessment, inspection, and reporting on painting activities to ensure that painting jobs are carried out according to specifications and procedures.
Ensure that HSE measures are respected on painting jobs on-site.
Ensure onsite testing according to specifications to ensure the quality of achieved requirements.
Liaise with Sales Executives on product deliveries and other matters, which require the service of site supervision to ensure the right amount of product available before painting.
Recommend painting procedure and product type to suit the change of requirements at the site.
Ensure proper painting application at the site, advise concerned project management about shortfalls in application procedures, and ensure that applicators follow specified painting procedures.
Monitor consumption levels of paints at the site and inform Sales Executives of shortages.
Work together with Jotun’s laboratory on technical support, product challenges, and new product field trial.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What We Look For:
Bachelor’s degree and preferably Engineering Degree in Civil
3-5 years of experience in Decorative Paint and Floor coating industry. (construction gulf experience is a Plus)
Fluency in English ( Arabic and Hindi ) is a plus
The Gulf Driving license is a plus
