I am supporting a large Insurance Group in the UAE with their search for a new Chief Risk Officer. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the implementation of a group wide risk management strategy covering all aspects of Risk.
You will need to be a qualified Actuary and have worked in a Global organisation at a similar level to be considered for this opportunity. Middle East Insurance market knowledge is not essential but would offer a distinct advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
Contribute to Group Strategy
Develop and maintain Risk Policies, Processes & Procedures
Budgeting & Cost control of the Risk Division
Develop and maintain the Risk Management Framework
Risk management forecasts and planning
Day to day activities will include:
Group Risk Management & Reporting
Team Leadership
Stakeholder management and engagement at C-Suite level across the Group
Lead on the continuous development and improvement of Risk
Board reporting
