Job description
Charterhouse is working with a global Financial Brokerage Firm based in the DIFC, and they are searching for a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to handle daily operating tasks for their Dubai branch. The COO will work closely with the CEO and the department heads to ensure continued success for the firm.
About the role
The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for developing and executing the operational strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team, so extensive knowledge of a variety of roles will be essential in order to maintain efficiency throughout the departments.
The daily tasks will include creating reports, reviewing and analysing KPIs for each department, planning budgets and cost management strategies as well as ensuring compliance of all activities.
In addition, this role will be expected to provide strategic leadership to multiple departments, and ensure the smooth collaboration with key stakeholders. Ultimately, the COO should aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of services and organisational efficiency in order to allow others to focus on client-facing work.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have experience in similar senior positions in the UAE for the last 5 years, with a focus on people from other finance or wealth management firms. Our client is looking for someone with a strong track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and have excellent leadership qualities, as well as technical skills such as financial modelling and reports.
