Job Purpose:
To provide efficient Training Administration service for the smooth functioning of Engineering Training activities.
Job Outline:
- Preparation of handouts for Basic courses and Type Training, mainly Airbus and Boeing courses.
- Producing updated handouts as and when required through desktop publishing to ensure a good quality of handouts is maintained. When revision to Engineering manuals occur ensure that the revisions are incorporated into all handouts.
- Co-ordinating with the printing section on in-house printing of handouts and ensure quality of the same.
- Ensuring confidentiality in the storage and maintenance of examination papers for inspection by Quality assurance auditing. Maintaining records of trainees and updating system information.
- Ensuring proper classroom set-up along with appropriate equipment prior to course commencement.
- Handling Inventory on handouts and stationery on stock and ensuring that minimum level is always maintained.
- To maintain inventory of tools and equipment and to generate reports to the Training Management as and when required.
- Update of Maintenance Manuals, Technical Notices and Microfilms for the Airbus and Boeing fleets as per the amendments received from Technical Library in Quality Assurance (EK Engineering), in the absence of the Librarian.
- Taking nomination for course from EK staff and 3rd parties. Liaise with Engg Admin for arrangement and renewal of airport passes and Uniform stores on new issue/replacements of uniforms for trainees.
- Assist Training Officer - Workshops in periodic maintenance and calibration of tools and equipments.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
10 Years Schooling or equivalent
Experience:
Administration. General administration.
Knowledge/Skills:
2+ yrs Experience in Administration, General Administration
Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience in an Admin function
- Knowledge of `Microsoft Office' Word Processing/Spreadsheet is essential.
- Ability to do routine work with accuracy and speed.
