Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Management Consultant to join our team! In this role you will get to do the Project Management Consultant services to Client as part of their team.
The Project Management Consultant will lead initiatives to specifically improve project management competencies in line with global best practices for Client.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the Transformation Consultant with the ‘change management’ programme
Acting as a subject matter expert in project management best practices
Assessing skills and behaviors of project managers and leading improvement and learning initiatives
Working collaboratively with Human Capital teams to create a new project management career path and job family with defined competency criteria for each job title
Assessing all project engineers/managers against competency criteria and organize appropriate training to address identified gaps and enhance talent
Reviewing the Project Management Manual and coordinating improvements by internal subject matter experts as required to meet best practices
Taking responsibility for ensuring Level 2 processes are fit for purpose and oversea improvements by subject experts as required
Collaborating with subject matter experts to recommend and implement new processes, systems, and practices across CPD as appropriate to improve performance
Creating a project management community that fosters healthy personal development for individuals and improves business performance
Organize regular workshops to engage with project managers, seek feedback, and improve 2-way communications
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
Min 10 years related experience
Subject matter expert in project management and having related qualifications
Supporting Capital Excellence transformation as required by TAQA and Client leadership
Developing and implementing strategies to manage projects effectively from inception to completion using recognized global best practices
Conceptualizing and implementing solutions that improve systems, processes, and practices
Standardizing Project Management Processes which will enhance delivery assurance
Assessing gaps in competencies and leading improvement initiatives, and delivering coaching & training as required
Acting as CPD focal point for TAQA Capital Excellence Transformation Program
Benchmarking CPD project management competencies, identifying gaps, and implementing improvement initiatives
Proposing and implementing changes to project management job family and career paths as per global best practices
Helping to establish a project management community that enhances individual skills and collective results
Organizing & leading project management workshops to facilitate the above
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Requires proficiency in the application of Project Management Consultant services, practices, and techniques, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in improving project management competencies that align with Client CPD requirements.
Excellent coaching and training skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience of working internationally (preference UAE experience)
Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory and personnel administrative functions.
Presentation and management skills.
Working under pressure, multitasks and support multi projects
