RESPONSIBILITIES
#### Stage 1: Evaluating the claim from a procedural point of view.
- Establish the Baseline Program.
- Review the Contract documents for each Construction Package and advise the Projects Controls Manager of any deficiency.
- Review program updates against the Baseline Program, ensuring procedural compliance.
- Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work on site is in compliance with approved schedules, reporting any deficiencies.
#### Stage 2: Technical and contractual evaluation of the claim.
- Develop the engineering, procurement, and construction sequence logic, aligning with procurement strategies.
- Review and approve/comment on Design, Construction, and procurement schedules, ensuring compliance with the overall project schedule.
- Review field design changes and Trend Notices, assessing time impact if any.
- Review any claim involving time impact and report the assessment.
#### Stage 3: Financial evaluation of the claim.
- Advise the Projects Controls Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress, suggesting corrective actions, and developing delay mitigation strategies.
- Review in detail the recovery schedules, ensuring manpower and site supervision staff are properly aligned.
#### Stage 4: Lessons learned and development of procedures.
- Assist Projects Controls Manager during the preparation of Monthly Progress reports and Monthly Executive Presentations, incorporating lessons learned.
- Participate with PM staff in reviewing the Close-Out Reports, contributing to procedural development.
#### Other Responsibilities:
- Provide planning/program advice to Client’s management.
- Implement progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Advise the Project Controls Manager and Senior Project Manager on the time impacts of instigating a change request; attend weekly progress meetings and monthly Executive meetings.
- Review the commissioning plans, ensuring compliance with the approved construction schedule.
This role reports to the Program Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent degrees from an accredited university.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in planning and scheduling and in a functional role as scheduling manager on mega projects.
Experience in executing, monitoring and reviewing planning and scheduling tasks, which include scheduling, control and analysis at site and HQ level.
Knowledge of supervision and personnel management and training of technical and non-technical staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start-up processes.
Knowledge of engineering and construction management usually gained over time through specialized education or practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and deliver scheduling deliverables and schedules independently and with minimal direct supervision. This includes the use of professional skills to judge outputs and knowledge associated with technical skills for planning, engineering design, construction and procurement practices.
