Dove Green Private School is a leading British International School in the Middle East. Due to our continuing growth, we seek to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Secondary School Business Studies and Computer Science teacher to join our team in August 2023.
Our successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience at GCSE level within a British Curriculum School with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who will be working alongside other experienced team members to promote the strategic vision of the school.
Job Description:
We are offering an exciting and unique opportunity to join our continually growing and evolving school. All our senior school departments are new, fully equipped with brand new, state-of-the-art resources with the opportunity for personal growth as well as development of the faculty department.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and growing the department as well as monitor and deliver outstanding teaching practices in accordance with the UK curriculum, to provide a high quality and stimulating learning experience to our Key Stage 3 & 4.
Experience and Education Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree plus QTS and PGCE
● The bachelor’s degree must be in a directly related field (e.g. Chemistry teacher should have a science related bachelor’s degree)
● Qualified Teacher Status with 2 years of post-qualification experience in delivering the National Curriculum for England to students in Key Stage 3 & 4.
● Committed professionals who are dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the school’s vision, mission and values.
● A proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through ensuring high quality teaching and learning, built on current pedagogical practices and forward-thinking initiatives.
● The ability to use data effectively, to monitor and enhance student progress
● Excellent organisational and time management skills.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity, and wellbeing.
● Teachers with a natural desire to develop and contribute to the schools Professional Learning Community.
● A professional who works collaboratively, both within their immediate team and across the wider school community.

Shortlisting / Interview Process:
Candidates succeeding to the short-list phase will be asked for a professional portfolio which provides a ‘flavour’ of you and your teaching success to date to be submitted in advance and may be invited to deliver a short 40-minute lesson to a relevant year group, followed by an interview with key leaders.
