We can offer you the following tasks:
Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising all Field Service activities during new equipment installation, service and commissioning work, on offshore and onshore installations/sites for all types of rotating equipment/turbomachinery.
As Mechanical Supervisor you:
Will act as site manager/supervisor during erection/assembly of supplied equipment up to mechanical completion.
Able to work "hands on" to accurate/fine tolerances during critical activities.
Participate and direct site meetings to plan/agree on site activities/work scope.
To lead and supervise skilled/unskilled labor at site, to perform the specified tasks.
Provide support and technical advice to customers personnel at site.
Lead and coordinate trouble shooting and problem solving activities at site
Complete/fill out the respective site documentation and Field Service Reports.
Follow and adhere to the Safety, Heath, Environmental and Quality Guidelines and Company Policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
You can help us with these qualifications:
Graduate from Senior High School / Technical College Graduate from Senior High School or graduate from Apprentice training in mechanical field
You Have at least a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the erection, assembly and service of rotating equipment/ turbomachinery (preferably turbines/compressors).
Good ability to accurately convey technical data and information into written reports.
Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel, MS-Project etc.)
You are a team player, but are able to work independently, you are able to take the initiative and are an excellent communicator, with good social and intercultural skills.
You have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, you are flexible, physically fit and willing to travel and work for up to 200 days per year around the world, on various assignments. The candidate must be able to speak and write English fluently, additional foreign languages would be beneficial.
Specific Knowledge:
Work experience with turbomachinery OEM
5 to 8 years field service experience on new installations and/or service works on at least 3 different types of Turbomachinery
3 to 5 years experience of leading role in erection of new installations and/or major overhauls or retrofits of Turbomachinery
