As Supply Chain Manager at Cofix UAE, you will oversee and manage the entire supply chain, including all procurement and logistics for Cofix in the UAE market. You will be identifying new supply partners for all our food and non-food items and services and developing and fostering strong relationships with them. You will achieve process and productivity maximization while maintaining a high level of quality and cost-effectiveness. Your active involvement will be instrumental in new store openings and in helping us to achieve excellence in product value for our guests.
THE ROLE
As Supply Chain Manager at Cofix UAE, you will oversee and manage the entire supply chain, including all procurement and logistics for Cofix in the UAE market. You will be identifying new supply partners for all our food and non-food items and services and developing and fostering strong relationships with them. You will achieve process and productivity maximization, while maintaining a high level of quality and cost-effectiveness. Your active involvement will be instrumental in new store openings and in helping us to achieve excellence in product value for our guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy for Cofix’s operations in the UAE.
Identify and contact prospective suppliers, understand their resources, capabilities and offer quality, negotiate supplier agreements, prepare and submit Requests for Proposals (RFP) and follow through on all procurement matters.
Optimize upstream logistic operations and distribution, including continuous fostering of strategic partner relationships with suppliers to achieve KPIs such as COGS, On-Time and In-Full rates (Perfect Orders), Cash-to-Cash cycle, Inventory days / turnover, etc.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for food manipulation, delivery and storage at all company-controlled premises and enforce all applicable health, security, and safety standards.
Work with other areas such as operations and marketing to coordinate the implementation of their respective strategies, plans and tactics.
Provide detailed reports and notifications as appropriate and communicate project status to the Country Manager, Head of Global Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Preferred bachelor’s degree in a business related field.
5+ years supply chain experience in retail operations, preferably with a restaurant, cafe, or retail food chain.
Customer-centered, high level of detail orientation and strong ability to effectively prioritize.
Deep understanding of food service sector regulations and sanitary control requirements.
Strong organizational skills, analytical capability, decision-making and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
Fluency in English is required; Russian is a plus.
