Job Description
Our client is a UAE based bespoke IT services provider with a solid client base in Abu Dhabi. The company is at the forefront of adopting the latest technological platforms to address their customers’ requirements in cyber security, digital transformation, enterprise information management, enterprise-wide intelligent automation, cloud management and web development. To support its growth customer base in UAE, our client is looking to recruit its :
Windows Engineer (Senior role)
Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE
You have strong technical expertise in
Domain controllers, MS SOL servers, MS exchange, Symantec PGP, MS SCCM/SCOM, windows OS, VMware vcenter, Ivanti and WSUS, ITIL, SSL certificates, incident management, patch management, TIP, Windows servers, Group Policy, ONS, Windows Permissions, Manage Active Directory, Active Directory Cleanup - File Server.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and automate patch management with regards to the frequency for the patches and the patch versions (n-1) for Windows Server Maintenance & Support
Designs the Windows Server Solution and domain systems
Create the frequency for the patches and the patch versions (n-1) for Windows Desktop and Server patching
Engineer the Active Directory and certificate servers and Advanced maintenance and group policy management
Responsible for documentation: Creation and review of low-level-designs (LLDs) and only review of high-level-designs (HLDs)
Design and engineer MS Exchange as per the company's requirement
Responsible for Domain Control, ONS, DHCP, File Services Management
Requirements
You have a Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT-related discipline.
At least 10 years’ experience on Windows Server.
Must have an expert level in Windows Server fundamentals and design principles, experience tuning, troubleshooting, optimization and capacity planning.
Hands on experience designing and configuring Microsoft Windows (Server and End User) technology including Antivirus, patch management and other System Administration tools
Experience developing detailed Windows Administrative standards, design, and implementation documentation
Experience in server storage configurations.
(MCP) Microsoft Certified Professional or (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
Experience engineering support of Active Directory, DNS, and any additional Microsoft, Citrix and VMware products
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to understand client requirements.
You have good analytical skills and enjoy solving challenges at work.
