The opportunity
Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that the current procedures and governance procedures/rules including those which may be established over the course of the programme are strictly adhered to.
Managing current approvals process through the District Controls Group (DCG) leadership panel.
Ensuring that the governance and approvals process follows client and stakeholders’ priorities, requirements, and expectations.
Coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to governance and approvals processes are in line with current processes and contractual obligations.
Managing and reviewing of master control schedule to ensure that governance and approvals processes complement the current timeline and ensure delays to programme do not arise due to delayed governance/approvals submissions.
Conducting a review of current governance under the programme and assessing for gaps and improvements.
Supporting stakeholder engagement with governance and compliance issues
Providing independent assurance that the project teams are undertaking their governance and compliance issues.
Understanding of governance, transformational change management methodologies, resources and tools, and project delivery with strong business and technical acumen.
Supporting large organizations' transitions into a maturity phase while also managing complex yet ambitious processes, systems, and organization-wide transformation projects
Ensuring and maintaining a strong partnership with business process owners and technologies.
Collecting business requirements and using them to guide the collaborative implementation of a governance and compliance protocol/system.
Developing a robust program governance regime comprising policies, processes, and procedures.
About you
You have a relevant degree qualification, are digitally competent, and can build trusted, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors in the project environment. You have a degree or equivalent with professional work experience. Broad knowledge of governance, policies, procedures, and business plans (e.g., budget, and fiscal management policies, and decision-making processes).
You will have a relevant degree qualification. You have experience in finance and financial reporting. You have experience in defining and implementing process governance and data programs.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project management equating quality and value with the individual client and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
