Description
As the Senior Manager for Quality and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout our operations. Your primary focus will be on maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices, minimizing risks, and driving continuous improvement in quality and safety processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality and safety policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and customer requirements.
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) across the organization.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify gaps in quality and safety practices and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and measure quality and safety performance, and provide regular reports and analysis to the management team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce waste.
Manage and lead a team of quality and safety professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Coordinate with external regulatory agencies and third-party auditors to ensure compliance and facilitate inspections and certifications.
Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of quality and safety incidents, implement corrective actions, and develop preventive measures to minimize the risk of recurrence.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging best practices in quality and safety management, and proactively recommend and implement improvements.
Foster a culture of quality and safety awareness throughout the organization by organizing training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
Requirements
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in quality and safety management
Certification in quality and safety management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Safety Professional) such as OSHA is highly desirable.
Should possess proper knowledge of roof sandwich panel repair methodologies.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, safety regulations, and relevant standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS 18001.
Familiarity with the local regulatory environment and requirements in Saudi Arabia.
Your Proficiencies:
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving quality and safety objectives.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and drive continuous improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
