Responsible for managing all financial affairs of the company, ensuring that financial policies, procedures, and controls are in place, and overseeing financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Manage the company's budget and forecasting processes,
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast,
Ensure that financial statements are accurate and timely,
Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management,
Review and update the Quality Assurance Financial Reports.
Issue Ministry of Education (ADEK & CHEDS) related financial reports.
Issue internal auditing reports.
Manage cash flow and oversee the company's banking relationships,
Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable,
Manage the company's tax planning and compliance activities,
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements,
Supervise the finance team and provide training and guidance as needed,
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
Control and oversee all payments based on the company cash flow.
Oversee and manage ADSM Operations Plan “OP”.
Liaise with internal/external auditors to ensure that appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained and follow up with any related requirements.
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company financial plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Skills
BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Preferrable CPA or CMA certification.
7+ years of experience in financial management or accounting.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Fluent in Arabic and English
