RESPONSIBILITIES:
All tasks are carried out in accordance with Engineering group policies and quality procedures under the leadership of the Engineering Manager.
Technical support for drill bit design features, selection and application – the RDE will be the local expert for internal and external customers for drill bit product development and application.
Design of fixed cutter product in cooperation with DSE, Sales and external customers (client Drilling Engineers).
Contribute to sales and marketing efforts to ensure products offered are in line with engineering group and company strategies.
Provide technical support both internally and externally to customers.
Assist field testing and new technology commercialization.
Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines.
Consistently produce quality work and recommend areas where quality can be improved.
Chair meetings with internal and external customers and be aware of (and deliver) client expectationshair client meetings and monitor individual's performance to ensure customer care is at .
Remain aware and involved in the latest developments within the industry and the greater engineering world to identify any potential concepts that could be incorporated into new designs.
Travel as and when required in order to support the business.
Carry out any other reasonable duties when requested by a line manager.

Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent Engineering major.
Degree Score: Minimum 2:1 (3.0 to 3.33 GPA).
0 to 3 years maximum experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
