Worley is currently searching for an experienced Senior Information Engineer/Data Administrator to join PMC project in Abu Dhabi.
Minimum Experience: 12 years
Job Description:
The Data Administrator will serve as focal point for all data manipulation and reporting, working with the Engineering and project management teams in providing the necessary reports to indicate the current project status.
Ability to translate what the internal and external customers requirements from available data.
Innovate reporting to provide dashboards and reports for presentations and provide real time reporting, using variety of systems such as PowerBI, SharePoint.
Extract and manipulate data from EDMS and Project planning systems to provide insights into project efficiencies.
Investigate opportunities to provide visualisation of data contained within project Management systems.
Job Roles:
Co-ordinate and be the focal point for data reporting queries from IPMT team.
Understand the client and internal project requirements for data collection, conditioning, reporting and turnover
Build the architecture to provide the foundation for reporting and dashboarding.
Interface with IPMT Project/Information Management to ensure active exchange of best practice and alignment of processes and systems.
Co-ordinate with EPC to facilitate the setup and configuration of the data repositories to meet the project requirements.
Manage the day to day data management and collection queries raised by IPMT.
Provide the IPMT Project Information Manager and Project team with regular reports on project performance.
Support IPMT team on data visualisation, designing reports and KPI’s on data extracted from supporting systems.
Experience, Education, Skills & Job Knowledge
Minimum of 12 years Information Management and Data Management experiences.
Administration of electronic database tools to analyse, manipulate and transfer data.
Experienced in Information Management Systems, Engineering work processes, Project Management or related field.
Expert-level understanding of Project information and document management processes.
Ability to translate results into reports for management understanding and consumption
Expert knowledge in data manipulation, interrogation and reporting.
Personal Qualities
Must be a good communicator, confident, assertive, self-motivated, goal orientated, innovative and proactive and forward looking.
Must be able to accept responsibility and understanding accountability.
Able to identify & facilitate the effective resolution of problems, making optimal use of available resources.
Must be able to positively influence the culture of the Information Management Group.
Must be able to interact at all levels of the organisation.
