Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in procurement/supply chain management.
Skills/Knowledge
Proficiency in English (Spoken & Written)
Proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent managerial skills.
Knowledge of procurement techniques and strategies.
Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory, and warehousing.
Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS.
Strong knowledge of inventory costing methods, such as first in-first out (FIFO), last in-first out (LIFO), and weighted average cost (WAC).
Familiar with ERP systems.
Excellent customer relationship management (including change management).

Job Description
Provide company-wide logistics, inventory, and warehouse management services skillfully to achieve the best value for Oman Air in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Provide company-wide guidance, advice, and support to ensure that logistics, inventory, and warehouse processes are effective, efficient, transparent, and ethical.
Manage inventories to prevent operational disruptions, and ensure maintaining optimum stock.
Develop and implement the logistics, inventory, and Warehousing processes and procedures.
Develop logistics, inventory, and warehousing strategy based on the business strategy encompassing all departments. Include details regarding materials and staffing required to ensure accurate and cost-effective logistics and inventory management.
Develop Procurement Plan in coordination with the Category Manager for the calendar year that covers stock items related to stationary and consumable items.
Develop and implement a plan for inventory storage based on bin location and physical movement of items.
Investigate discrepancies after cycle counting and stock taking and ensure adjustments are carried out in the ERP system to match the physical count.
Conduct regular meetings with end-users to evaluate the logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations, and study the best practices strategy.
Manage the movement cycle of purchased or repaired materials or parts from the time notice is received from the concerned department to the arrival or return of materials or parts.
Manage the logistics operations in a timely and cost-effective way.
Ensure the freight forwarding management for all materials import and export are managed promptly.
Ensure the coordination with the procurement team and warehouse is done on time for shipments.
Adhere to the company's health, safety, environmental, and security policies at all times and immediately report violations of these policies.
Adhere to and support ISO processes and certification renewal and ensure areas of responsibility are in continuous compliance.
Ensure the staff's Business Ethics and Core Values are implemented and followed appropriately.
Ensure that the inventory stock value is reconciled with the accounts ledger.
Ensure timely generation of Inventory Value Movement report, Inventory Transaction report, Inventory Performance report, Incidents report (if any), and Stock-on-Hand report.
Develop and implement the physical inventory count program in coordination with warehouse management to ensure records accuracy.
Ensure the coordination with suppliers and service providers is done efficiently to provide cost-effective logistics and shipment solutions.
Manage the custom clearance requirements and coordinate with respective authorities or providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective clearance of all exports or imports.
