You will be responsible for leading the PI PVD/ESKD central sales team to deliver key business objectives in the Medical Space and translating them into business opportunities. The Individual will have the ability to work collaboratively with the customers, KOL’s and internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and build and develop customer solutions and take responsibility for converting these key opportunities into growth.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the sales team, responsible for the PI -PVD/ESKD business in Central Region
Identify potential opportunities by researching market and related events, publications, and announcements.
Co travel, work and coach the sales team to develop customer-based strategies including career development, incentives, operational KPI’s
Develop relationships with key customers and decision makers in both the Private and State Sectors
Work with the extended marketing team to ensure that the selling and tactical plans are aligned with the marketing strategies for the region including product launches
Plan and organize selling activities in collaboration with the sales team focusing on procurement, supply chain, and other commercial related persons.
Using the ‘BD Way of Selling’ guidelines, work with the sales team to ensure adherence to the concept as well as developing selling skills within the team. This includes working on Sales Force Dot Com.
Own and be accountable for new business leads (private, state, tender, etc.)
Develop and maintain a clear understanding of current market, vision of expected market evolution and implications on customer needs
Support and expand BD portfolio in current customer accounts and be the first point of contact for customer queries relating to sales activity and service
Travel as required to visit customers, and attend business meetings
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and BD core values
Support & execute on all operational activities: Stock, back orders, pricing, customer queries, customer service, deliveries etc.
Internal interface & Operational effectiveness- Work in coordination with other BD businesses to identify cross business opportunities. Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Customer Service, Distributor Excellence and Commercial assurance teams. Launch new products in BDI PI PVD/ESKD portfolio.
May perform other duties as required.
