What you will be doing 

As a Digital Stream Lead, you will be leading the continuous improvement stream within the eCommerce Tech team.

This role will focus on driving financial, operational, and business growth results for eCommerce platforms. You will be required to co-design, execute, and lead Digital eCommerce improvement initiatives of varying size and complexity. This will also require a high degree of collaboration with other streams and key external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed 

Participate in the overall eCommerce roadmap planning with the eCommerce business Product teams.

Collaborate with the business product managers and stakeholders and act as a liaison between technology, business units, and external parties to identify areas of improvement of business process, execution, and operations.

Lead the digital lifecycle; implementation of large, complex solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution go-live

Responsible for the execution of the eCommerce enhancement program.

Lead frontend/backend engineers; guide them from design to deployment.

Work closely with the stakeholders to understand the current business processes, technology involved, volumes, and the problem statement

Identify and suggest various opportunities to improve efficiency and functionality

Drive technical discussions with the engineering and architecture teams and create to improve the overall platform quality and performance

Co-Design and develop with the Web Analytics teams business metrics and insights, to measure the impact and value of the delivered initiatives.

Your Profile:

University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

7+ years of experience in leading Digital streams & transformation preferably focused on continuous improvement.

Expert in:

Agile delivery methodologies

Communicating with businesses and developers

Managing business stakeholders & expectations

Managing offshore development teams

Experience with:

commerce SaaS systems (sfcc, Shopify)

eCommerce tech architectures

technologies like: react, nodeJs,

cloud computing: AWS, GCP, azure

API technologies: rest, graphql

Demonstrable experience of success within a range of complex project environments and sectors

Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions, deal with loosely defined problems and fast-changing requirements, and think abstractly

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audiences.
