 Campaigns & Special Projects Manager- TAQA, UAE

Job Purpose:

TAQA Group, one of the largest integrated utilities in the region and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, is hiring a Planning & Special Projects Manager within the Group Communications team. The position will play a key role in the development and delivery of the strategy as well as being a hands-on advisor within major internal and external projects representing the department. The role will also lead on the development and reporting of metrics for different aspects of TAQA communications.

Key Accountabilities:

Drive the development of an integrated communications plan and report on progress against delivery

Provide key communications input for group reporting in a timely manner

Work with N-2s and others in Group Communications developing, implementing and tracking key metrics for the department

Develop and lead on special projects across the Group in collaboration with HQ functions and Operating Companies

Advise on major internal or external projects as needed, such as M&A or contracts

Lead development of communications campaigns in conjunction with other divisions within Group Communications

To role model collaborative teamworking style and flexibility

Work effectively in a spirit of partnership with external service providers

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Advertising, Business, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations or another related field

10+ years of relevant experience

Skills:

Experience working successfully with senior stakeholders in a complex, diverse organization

Ability to think both strategically and analytically

Excellent written and oral English required, Arabic preferred

Capable of positively representing the team at senior levels

Proven project management experience

Flexible and collaborative style of working

Must be collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills

Experience working on major projects, leading and delivering in a timely manner

Detail oriented
