The IT Project Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.

Verifies project team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.

Determines scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.

Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve issues.

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.

Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.

Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures; influences resource planning.

Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

Significant experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

The purpose of the Senior Solution Consultant role is:

The Sr. Solution Consultant plays a key role in augmenting sales opportunities through understanding and addressing customer’s key challenges, and leveraging ACI solutions and technology. This role ensures that our customers and prospects maximize their long term relationship with ACI, and is critical in conveying the needs and opportunities in the marketplace to the Market Product Managers as we develop our solution product strategies and roadmaps.

Working with the Market Product Managers and Product Marketing, the Sr. Solution Consultant will help define the key value propositions for the targeted market segments. This role will work closely with the sales organization and third party partners, and apply the market segment value propositions in the development of account plans, value propositions, and long term solution adoption strategies for ACI’s customers and prospects.

The role requires in-depth industry business insight, an understanding of the strategic and long term approach ACI’s customers should execute when using our solutions, a strong grasp of how ACI’s solutions can add real value for our customers, and an ability to work directly with new customers.

A typical day at ACI for a Sr Solution Consultant is:

Sales and Implementation

Participates as strategic product representative in end-to-end sales process and contributes to the development of specific opportunities.
Defines value propositions and long term solution strategies for specific opportunities to assist Sales in progressing deals in line with strategic sales plans.
Successfully defines and obtains agreement regarding customer requirements.
Identifies business development opportunities through scoping customer and external industry engagements.
Identifies and provides advice and business consultancy to prospects/customers on solution design options, and impacts of modifications on the existing system.
Ensures that all client business objectives are met as identified through the sales process and planned for in the implementation process.
Builds presentations, proposals, and papers designed to assist in the sales of product solutions.
Collaboratively works with other solution consultants, account representatives, customer managers, project managers, and the executive leadership team.
Develops value propositions within multiple industry and product families.
Works in an independent environment.
Works at an expert level for both product and industry in the sales arena.
Works on medium complexity accounts and opportunities.

Creates and executes against an individual development plan with management support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer e-mails/fax concerning I.T. Matters.
Coordinate with I.T. Corporate Office.
Inspect Micros and computer installed in different departments/outlets.

Manage contracts with IT vendors, consultants, service providers, review maintenance contracts to ensure accuracy and project completion.
Report status of IT operations to Executive Committee.
Evaluate and define hotel and user requirements to determine feasibility of requested enhancements.
Installation of software and hardware upgrades, compliance with Dusit Corporate and legal requirements related to software licensing agreements.
Focus on future business needs and profitability.
Develop training programs to increase user knowledge of systems to ensure high degree of computer proficiency.
Ensure compliance with established procedures, systems security, contingency plans, internal controls and standards.
Schedule routine preventive maintenance, daily clerical functions regarding integrity of computer systems.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain Daily Revenue Report and other relevant documents which are required on a daily basis.

COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Review proposals, contracts of suppliers and negotiate for a better deal.

HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with department heads and end – users to ensure smooth operation.
Provide training.

RELATIONSHIP

Maintain good relationship with all IT Contractors.

OTHERS

Continuous learning through own IDP.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of IT supervisory experience in medium-large organization is essential. Exposure to hospitality industry is highly desirable
Strong knowledge in Fidelio, Opera, Micros, PC. LAN. and other applications widely used in hospitality business.
Have Excellent English communication skills both in written and spoken
Posses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
