Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the Senior Finance team on accomplishing the responsibilities of the accounts department including various general accounting tasks and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining accounts payables and receivables
Prepare journal entries, keep the balance sheets up to date and assist with monthly account closings
Perform the bank reconciliations and prepare necessary material for audit purposes
Ensure that accounting transactions are booked accurately in accordance with Professional Codes of Practice, Accounting Standards and Service Level agreements
Receive and verify the accuracy of invoices and book them in accounting systems
Prepare and record inter-company debit and credit notes
Reconcile the inter-company accounts
Prepare the company fixed assets register
Manage effectively supplier’s payments and Accounts Payable accounts
Ensure the Implementation of Accounting policies and procedures
Assist the Chief Accountant in preparing Accounts payable Reports
Process on time supplier’s invoices and payments
Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Payment Request approval in ERP on the basis of budgets, including Material and Service PO
Travel Plan approval in ERP on the basis of Travel Policy
Logistics PO and Reimbursement Report approval in ERP
Project account mapping and party master in ERP
Performs other duties as assigned by LIN SCAN Group Chief Accountant and/or Chief Accountant North.
Reply for all finance related email (within 2 hours of receipt)
Follow up for daily, weekly, monthly reports with Chief accountant (Report dates attached for reference)
Organize emails (this week priority to organize all existing emails)
Consolidate the report from different territory
Arrange meetings
Prepare MOM and follow up for MOM
Arrange finance related files
Keep track on finance reporting with management and ensure it is delivered in time
Keep track pending action from finance and collect data from different chief Accountant to complete the same
Weekly priority updates and assign new priority, if required arrange between team for understanding the priorities
Other assignment (Please note that the assignment to be delivered within the time limit .
Organize finance related request and coordinate for approvals
Arrange External meeting (Banks and other third parties)

Skills/Experience:

Degree in Accounting/ Finance
Experience in Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable function is mandatory
3 to 4 years of experience working with reputed organization (preferably in the UAE)
Working knowledge of any ERP; Oracle E-Business Suite R12 is an advantage
Hands on experience in insurance, bank guarantees and letter of credit
Knowledge of WPS system and payroll accounting
With analytical skills, well disciplined and good communication skills
Computer literate (MS Office, Accounting programs)

Staff Nurse, Dar Al Shifa Hospital, Kuwait

The staff nurse provides direct and indirect age specific care for assigned patients in medical surgical nursing units per scheduled shifts. The staff nurse is primarily responsible for professional performance and safe patient care. 

The role encompasses nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients involving families. It includes but not limited to, managing adult and pediatric patients with medical and/or surgical cases, managing patients’ pre and post partum, pre and post surgeries. 

The staff nurse is accountable for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes, and in accordance with established institution's policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards of practice. 

Participates in PI projects, and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes. Utilizes knowledge of human development stages, and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. 

Abides by the accreditation requirements and international standards. Supports the mission and vision of the Dar Al Shifa Hospital (DASH) and the Nursing Department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-specific patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Assessing patient and family readiness and identifying learning needs.
  • Leading/encouraging multidisciplinary approach for patient’s discharge.
  • Developing and implementing the teaching plan utilizing patient education manual.
  • Evaluating the teaching-learning process.
  • Documenting patient and family education.
  • Perform patient assessment using appropriate, problem focused, and age-specific assessment techniques.
  • Involve the patient, significant others, and health care providers in the plan of care when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines through multidisciplinary meetings and care conferences to facilitate patient care and operations.
  • Analyze the assessment data, derive nursing interventions, set priorities according to patients needs, formulate a plan of care, implement and evaluate the outcome.
  • Ensures patient privacy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information .
  • Initiate appropriate discharge plan.
  • Recognize subtle cues to anticipate potential problems.
  • Document all relevant data in the medical record according to hospital/departmental standards.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of supplies and equipment needed for the unit and patient care.
  • Keep all equipment ready for use.
  • Follow Preventive Maintenance for unit equipment.
  • Accountable for the use of patients’ and hospital’s resources.
  • Accountable for the patient, the organization, the profession and self.
  • Perform clerical duties when needed.
  • Assume responsibility for meeting accreditation required mandatory education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Nursing or BSN
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years.
  • Knowledge: Medical, Surgical, pediatric, obstetrics & gynecology
